General Notes
I'm mainly here for my ships getting whumped and getting together, as melodramatically as you want (same goes for the siblings, but not necessarily with the getting together). So, don't worry about how exactly your story fits the requested freeform tag or whether there's 'enough' of the tag. And definitely don't worry about whether it fits whatever prompts I may have left. You can combine multiple requested freeform tags for a pairing, or focus on just one.
Things I Always Love
• Devoted Odd Couples: enjoying one another's company; laughing at one another; fond exasperation; loyalty; quietly self-sacrificial gestures
• Adventures: fish out of water; exploring new territory; finding out about magic; complementary skill sets; badassery; laughing in the face of danger or absurdity; the pen is mightier than the sword
• Friends to Lovers: I like many variations, including, a) fics that start after the first kiss/declaration and focus on how they navigate the relationship transition in the days or weeks that follow, b) adventures that cause people to realize they have more than platonic feelings and decide to make a move.
• Historical or Fantasy Settings: SWORDS!; also crossbows; carriages (and sex therein); kneeling; knighting; tournaments; balls; one horse goes lame so we have to share; camping in virgin forests; suddenly shot at by unseen archers; sleeping in haylofts; rowdy taverns; contrasting speech patterns

• Sexy Times: I have no top/bottom preferences in m/m. This letter is so long, so I left general porn likes HERE; they're applicable to any ship, not just the ones there. There's a more detailed version HERE (but the first one is enough, don't worry).
• Forced Sex: by the bad guys, for cultural or initiation rites, to cast a spell, etc. I'll take these for the flimsiest of reasons, so handwave away. But no pre-arranged consent, please. I like these tropes when at least one of them is awkward, angsty, pining and/or guilt-ridden during the sex, and they realize only afterwards that feelings are requited, or they develop feelings during the ordeal. Guilt about enjoying any aspect of it, surreptitiously checking each other out, trying to focus on one another instead of the spectators, trying to make the other laugh in order to make it more bearable, noticing details about what the other is like in a sexual scenario (ex. moans, sensitive spots, praise kink, etc.). I also love when the story focuses more on the awkward aftermath and getting together.
Do Not Wants
• fusions, setting AUs, or goofy crack (but crack taken seriously is amazing!)
• tragically unresolved age mismatches caused by lifespan differences or time travel
• Things That Upset Me: permanent death of requested characters; the afterlife/Aslan's country; un-averted apocalypses; bleak endings; erasure endings (ex. 'it was all a dream' or events of fic are mind-wiped away); non-canon permanent disfigurement (lost limbs, facial scars, brands, etc.)

• Writing Things: 1st & 2nd person POV; phonetically spelled dialogue (my brain genuinely struggles to process it)
• Relationship-Related: soulmates; shovel talks; yentas and matchmakers; pregnancy; adultery; characters written as ace, aro, or demi; gender identity headcanons; dark dynamics within my requested ships; non-canonical nicknames or terms of endearment
• Sex-Related: D/s dynamics within my ship; aphrodisiacs or roofies; people saying "I've got you" during sex; anything related to heats or ruts; "cum"/"cumming"; condoms (they don't make sense for these fandoms/ships)
**A Note on AUs: Adding supernatural elements to the otherwise canonical universe or characterizations--even 'mundane' ones--doesn't count as a setting AU to me. What I DO count as a setting AU is if the supernatural elements that form the canon's premise are removed, or a requested character's pre-canon backstory is wholly unrecognizable (ex. Psmith grew up poor and unable to attend posh schools), or a canon is moved into a wildly different location or time period (ex. modern, space, pirates).
Psmith
• Psmith/Mike (hurt Psmith)
The only option in the tagset is for "hurt Psmith" but I will just as happily take "hurt Mike" or "both hurt" (I didn't nominate for this exchange and would have thrown them all in). My basic needs remain the same as all the many times I have requested these two. I need them to be unambiguously in love by the end, with actual makeouts—or more!
DNW pre-ship or any hint that they will ever break up or be with anyone else after they get together; please pretend they never meet their wives. The only kind of angst and whump I don't care for with these two is self-loathing internalized homophobia. I don't want to pretend society was any different than it was; I just want them to get away with their secret romance without ever hating themselves for what they feel for each other. Other than that, whump either of them (or both) HARD.
I don't know how translate all my existing prompts into this format (and I don't have time this week to figure it out), so I'm going to cheat and link you to other letters that you can use to inspire scenarios for h/c. As usual, I'm looking for this odd couple to be angsty and badass and snarky and in love. That said, I've recently become super into takes that skip over the meet-cute and start months after they meet and become friends, so that the story can have more of a pining or 'friends to lovers' vibe (this is laid out in the first linked letter section). Hurt/comfort works best for me if they start the story already being close, so I would definitely prefer this take here.
Some general character notes: Please let Bucky be a fully functional badass with at least a glimmer of a sense of humour. I like stories about him trying to move on and build a new life, not ones where he's brainwashed or pathetic for most of it. I have a pet peeve about Bucky and Steve saying "ain't" and sounding like a 1930s gangster movie. Can they please speak as properly as they do in the films? Cursing is fine, though. I’m not into fics where Loki spends most of the time in Jotun form or shapeshifted into someone else. Can you pretend the serum gives Bucky an Asgardian-like lifespan? Or you could handwave some magic to make Bucky immortal. Or something. I don't care about the logistics.
I find the 'replacement goldfish' trope intensely depressing, so please don't have Bucky or Loki know/be close with one universe's version and then date another. This should be easy since they never met in canon, so the versions you have in this story can easily be the only versions that they ever meet.

I yearn for a canon divergence AU about Francis and Christian unambiguously getting together and being okay after the first book. “The Game of Kings” is far and away my favorite. Francis is so much more insouciant and FUN in it, while still being deliciously anguished and badass. And they have so much fun together. I love their secret visits and correspondence and music. They conspire so dangerously, but at the same time, she's the only person he seems to relax around. I love how her blindness never stops her from being ridiculously capable. I love the way he understands how she wants to be treated, and quietly helps her get what she wants out of life. I love the way she is largely over his shit and keeps up with his erudite banter. I love their equal amounts of self-sacrificing love for one another. Lots of longing and denial and cleverness and OTT angst would be great. I'm fine ignoring the later books, or using bits of them to create scenarios that Francis/Christian can get together in.
That said, I'm going to ask for a bit of hard mode. I've received and read a few fics that are "fix-its", like, focused on the time period where she died and showing how it could have gone differently. And I've loved them!! But that itch is kinda scratched now. What I would really like is something that starts weeks or months later, not focused on or mentioning her 'near-death' episode at all. Maybe she recovered, maybe it never even came up… I don't care. What I want are the adventures and stuff she could has with Francis later on in the life fic can give her, instead of coming back to that day. Can you think of a new scenario for these prompts, set AFTER during Game of Kings, or at least starting later in the book than that whole episode?
This is one of my ultimate lifelong OTPs, so I need them to be unquestionably endgame and have a happy ending. Instead of bashing or hurting Tom, please pretend their engagement amicably ends/ended, or the pairing never existed at all. As long as he's over it, it’s okay to reference past Francis/Lady Lennox or random women he fucked before Game of Kings. No hints of other Francis pairings, please. Canon ships that don't involve Francis or Christian are fine to include in the background.
— Missions: More reputation-saving quests or diplomatic hijinks? Basically, any kind of canon-typical plot, but with the two of them working together while getting together. Perhaps the Queen Mother sends him/them on a mission to England or France? Undercover as a couple in France or London? Captured and abused by Lady Lennox, or a sultan, or any of the myriad people Francis has probably pissed off throughout the series, or pirates, or a rival mercenary gang, or just a straight up madman? Or send them to a new place, like Venice or something, where they can fall in with new bad people? If you're doing one of the noncon tags, I don't care which one of them gets abused (or both). I just… don't want it to feel like a rehash of Philippa's storyline.
— Undercover as a Couple: I love how such tropes push relationships forward and help them learn new things about each other--both delightful and irritating. I also adore the awkward sexual situations engendered (and resolved, please!). You can handwave the set-up to get right to the good stuff.
— Magic: I always love "like canon except magic apparently exists", and will love anything you come up with. Maybe Johnnie Bullo's work wasn't a con, or druids, or selkies, or they stumble into Avalon, or find Excalibur, or randomly magical streams, or the fair folk get up to some mischief, or a holy relic turns out to have real power, or there's a haunted castle, or some unexplained something leaves one of them with superpowers. Or you could pretend the books exist within the Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell (book version) world; does the Raven King show up? Does the Gentleman kidnap one of them? Something else along those lines? ... IDK. Anything. Francis and Christian dealing with the ensuing adventure while also dealing with their feelings.
— The books skipped over the first year of Francis's reinstatement into Scottish high society. Tell me more about how that went. What if they'd gotten the formal reintroduction they had wished for? What adventures did they have during that period between the first and second books? You could even pretend the whole France thing never happened and extend that time for adventures.
— Time Loops: I love individual journeys of self-discovery, as well as self-help adventures in which people learn life lessons, overcome some baggage, figure out priorities, etc. This trope is amazing for all that! I don't really care how/why it starts or stops; feel free to handwave or leave things unexplained. I also don’t care which of the requested characters is in the loop (or maybe both!). Depending on whether it would be in-character for the character at hand, I enjoy a variety of reactions and loop iterations—from wacky, to “give no fucks”, to suicidal, to darkest timeline, to erroneously thinking it’s over, etc. Or you could focus more the aftermath, as the character transitions back to normal with the memories of all the other ways it could have gone. This trope gets a little creepy for me when it’s solely focused on making someone fall in love with you, or where character B is treated simply as character A's oblivious reward. However, as long as the loop person has other goals/projects, I'll be ecstatic. Or maybe find a way for the non-loop person to have agency?

I love these two SO MUCH, individually and together. I love Edmund's journey from his deep betrayal (betraying her even a little bit more than the others) and how they ended up so ride or die about each other by VoDT (the part in 'Prince Caspian' where he takes Lucy's side about going down the side of the mountain… MY HEART!). I love how they're also quite teasing with each other, too, while also clearly very fond. They even go into battle together! ♥♥♥ Please whump them. Whump them hard, and then have them comfort each other.
I didn't nominate for this exchange, but if I had, I would have nommed the above gen tags as well as the equivalent / ship tags. I love these two however I can get them, from perfectly platonic siblings, to intense smarm, to straight up incest. It could also be that they're forced to fuck each other despite only having platonic feelings. Any angle you want will be great, as long as they are deeply devoted to one another. I'd love it if they were way more wrapped up in each other than they are with Peter and Susan.
I love everyone's competency, earnestness and courage when it counts, but also their flaws and sassiness. Where they are understandably frightened or make mistakes or get grumpy. Something that keeps that balance would be amazing. I love that being redeemed and growing into a badass warrior king didn't entirely cure Edmund of being a cranky, sarcastic little shit. Although she truly is lovely and optimistic and jolly, Lucy definitely has sass, a touch of mischief, and is deadly in her own way; she's not a blandly sweet and pure saint.
DNW the train crash, end of Narnia or Aslan's Country/afterlife. Please let me assume none of it will happen and that they will get to live out their lives! If you're going to include anything sexual, please ensure they are at least 16-17 at the time. So, that might mean setting it during the Golden Age, or pretending they were that old during VoDT, or you can fast-forward a couple of years into the divergence to start the story when they are that age.
— Slavery – Lone Islands Edition: I need this so badly you have no idea. Basically, I want a canon divergence where Caspian and Bern didn't triumph, leaving everyone stuck as slaves. Has one of them recently grown or filled out in a way that makes the master notice them sexually for the first time? Or were they recently sold to a new and creepier master? Or are their duties and situation totally non-sexual (I know I have a lot of sex-related ideas, but I will be 1000% pleased with total gen)? Do they huddle together in their sad slave quarters, or are they forced to sleep beside the masters? Does Lucy ask Edmund to take her virginity tonight, knowing they'll be raped tomorrow? Do they have to wear collars or be demeaned in some other way? Are they owned by the same master or different ones? If different, do their masters bring them to the same parties to serve or be some other kind of entertainment? Is this the only time they get to see each other and/or their friends? Or do the Lone Islands have some sort of gladiator arena? Do the masters ever find out their true identities, or do they keep it under wraps? Do they find a way to save each other or their friends? If doing a shippy version, one extra-optional angle is that maybe they fucked once, back in the Golden Age, when they were older than this (either they were drunk, or a Bacchanalian ritual made them do it, or it was a masked ball kind of thing, or), and they never talked about it out of guilt/awkwardness/pining/IDK, but here they are again...
— Slavery – Rabadash Edition: What if Rabadash won, and got Edmund and/or Lucy instead of Susan? What happens? Does he defile one of them? In his rooms? In front of others? Does the Tisroc do it or join in? Ooooh, what if Rabadash is really repressed and was actually secretly obsessed with Edmund more than Susan, and now he can take what he really wants? Does he want to fuck Edmund, or, even more shamefully, have Edmund fuck him? Or, even if that's not what's going on, does he abuse Lucy to devastate Edmund even more? Have Edmund and Lucy been secretly pining for each other? If so, are they secretly aroused and super ashamed and guilty about it all? Does Rabadash figure it out and taunt them? Or not? Whatever happens, I want them gorgeously defiant and stoic, at least up to a point. What breaks them, if they break at all? Do they mock or threaten Rabadash while being abused? Does Edmund actually have a bigger dick? Or maybe the slavery isn't necessarily sex-based; in what other ways does Rabadash hurt and try to humiliate them? How do they comfort one another when he isn't looking, or try, even when he's there's, to lift each other's spirits and stoic resolve? As usual, I'm looking for this odd couple to be angsty and badass and snarky and in love. That said, I've recently become super into takes that skip over the meet-cute and start months after they meet and become friends, so that the story can have more of a pining or 'friends to lovers' vibe (this is laid out in the first linked letter section). Hurt/comfort works best for me if they start the story already being close, so I would definitely prefer this take here.
Some general character notes: Please let Bucky be a fully functional badass with at least a glimmer of a sense of humour. I like stories about him trying to move on and build a new life, not ones where he's brainwashed or pathetic for most of it. I have a pet peeve about Bucky and Steve saying "ain't" and sounding like a 1930s gangster movie. Can they please speak as properly as they do in the films? Cursing is fine, though. I’m not into fics where Loki spends most of the time in Jotun form or shapeshifted into someone else. Can you pretend the serum gives Bucky an Asgardian-like lifespan? Or you could handwave some magic to make Bucky immortal. Or something. I don't care about the logistics.
I find the 'replacement goldfish' trope intensely depressing, so please don't have Bucky or Loki know/be close with one universe's version and then date another. This should be easy since they never met in canon, so the versions you have in this story can easily be the only versions that they ever meet.

I yearn for a canon divergence AU about Francis and Christian unambiguously getting together and being okay after the first book. “The Game of Kings” is far and away my favorite. Francis is so much more insouciant and FUN in it, while still being deliciously anguished and badass. And they have so much fun together. I love their secret visits and correspondence and music. They conspire so dangerously, but at the same time, she's the only person he seems to relax around. I love how her blindness never stops her from being ridiculously capable. I love the way he understands how she wants to be treated, and quietly helps her get what she wants out of life. I love the way she is largely over his shit and keeps up with his erudite banter. I love their equal amounts of self-sacrificing love for one another. Lots of longing and denial and cleverness and OTT angst would be great. I'm fine ignoring the later books, or using bits of them to create scenarios that Francis/Christian can get together in.
That said, I'm going to ask for a bit of hard mode. I've received and read a few fics that are "fix-its", like, focused on the time period where she died and showing how it could have gone differently. And I've loved them!! But that itch is kinda scratched now. What I would really like is something that starts weeks or months later, not focused on or mentioning her 'near-death' episode at all. Maybe she recovered, maybe it never even came up… I don't care. What I want are the adventures and stuff she could has with Francis later on in the life fic can give her, instead of coming back to that day. Can you think of a new scenario for these prompts, set AFTER during Game of Kings, or at least starting later in the book than that whole episode?
This is one of my ultimate lifelong OTPs, so I need them to be unquestionably endgame and have a happy ending. Instead of bashing or hurting Tom, please pretend their engagement amicably ends/ended, or the pairing never existed at all. As long as he's over it, it’s okay to reference past Francis/Lady Lennox or random women he fucked before Game of Kings. No hints of other Francis pairings, please. Canon ships that don't involve Francis or Christian are fine to include in the background.
— Missions: More reputation-saving quests or diplomatic hijinks? Basically, any kind of canon-typical plot, but with the two of them working together while getting together. Perhaps the Queen Mother sends him/them on a mission to England or France? Undercover as a couple in France or London? Captured and abused by Lady Lennox, or a sultan, or any of the myriad people Francis has probably pissed off throughout the series, or pirates, or a rival mercenary gang, or just a straight up madman? Or send them to a new place, like Venice or something, where they can fall in with new bad people? If you're doing one of the noncon tags, I don't care which one of them gets abused (or both). I just… don't want it to feel like a rehash of Philippa's storyline.
— Undercover as a Couple: I love how such tropes push relationships forward and help them learn new things about each other--both delightful and irritating. I also adore the awkward sexual situations engendered (and resolved, please!). You can handwave the set-up to get right to the good stuff.
— Magic: I always love "like canon except magic apparently exists", and will love anything you come up with. Maybe Johnnie Bullo's work wasn't a con, or druids, or selkies, or they stumble into Avalon, or find Excalibur, or randomly magical streams, or the fair folk get up to some mischief, or a holy relic turns out to have real power, or there's a haunted castle, or some unexplained something leaves one of them with superpowers. Or you could pretend the books exist within the Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell (book version) world; does the Raven King show up? Does the Gentleman kidnap one of them? Something else along those lines? ... IDK. Anything. Francis and Christian dealing with the ensuing adventure while also dealing with their feelings.
— The books skipped over the first year of Francis's reinstatement into Scottish high society. Tell me more about how that went. What if they'd gotten the formal reintroduction they had wished for? What adventures did they have during that period between the first and second books? You could even pretend the whole France thing never happened and extend that time for adventures.
— Time Loops: I love individual journeys of self-discovery, as well as self-help adventures in which people learn life lessons, overcome some baggage, figure out priorities, etc. This trope is amazing for all that! I don't really care how/why it starts or stops; feel free to handwave or leave things unexplained. I also don’t care which of the requested characters is in the loop (or maybe both!). Depending on whether it would be in-character for the character at hand, I enjoy a variety of reactions and loop iterations—from wacky, to “give no fucks”, to suicidal, to darkest timeline, to erroneously thinking it’s over, etc. Or you could focus more the aftermath, as the character transitions back to normal with the memories of all the other ways it could have gone. This trope gets a little creepy for me when it’s solely focused on making someone fall in love with you, or where character B is treated simply as character A's oblivious reward. I love how they're also quite teasing with each other, too, while also clearly very fond. They even go into battle together! ♥♥♥ Please whump them. Whump them hard, and then have them comfort each other.
I didn't nominate for this exchange, but if I had, I would have nommed the above gen tags as well as the equivalent / ship tags. I love these two however I can get them, from perfectly platonic siblings, to intense smarm, to straight up incest. It could also be that they're forced to fuck each other despite only having platonic feelings. Any angle you want will be great, as long as they are deeply devoted to one another. I'd love it if they were way more wrapped up in each other than they are with Peter and Susan.
I love everyone's competency, earnestness and courage when it counts, but also their flaws and sassiness. Where they are understandably frightened or make mistakes or get grumpy. Something that keeps that balance would be amazing. I love that being redeemed and growing into a badass warrior king didn't entirely cure Edmund of being a cranky, sarcastic little shit. Although she truly is lovely and optimistic and jolly, Lucy definitely has sass, a touch of mischief, and is deadly in her own way; she's not a blandly sweet and pure saint.

So, that might mean setting it during the Golden Age, or pretending they were that old during VoDT, or you can fast-forward a couple of years into the divergence to start the story when they are that age.
— Slavery – Lone Islands Edition: I need this so badly you have no idea. Basically, I want a canon divergence where Caspian and Bern didn't triumph, leaving everyone stuck as slaves. Has one of them recently grown or filled out in a way that makes the master notice them sexually for the first time? Or were they recently sold to a new and creepier master? Or are their duties and situation totally non-sexual (I know I have a lot of sex-related ideas, but I will be 1000% pleased with total gen)? Do they huddle together in their sad slave quarters, or are they forced to sleep beside the masters? Does Lucy ask Edmund to take her virginity tonight, knowing they'll be raped tomorrow? Do they have to wear collars or be demeaned in some other way? Are they owned by the same master or different ones? If different, do their masters bring them to the same parties to serve or be some other kind of entertainment? Is this the only time they get to see each other and/or their friends? Or do the Lone Islands have some sort of gladiator arena? Do the masters ever find out their true identities, or do they keep it under wraps? Do they find a way to save each other or their friends? If doing a shippy version, one extra-optional angle is that maybe they fucked once, back in the Golden Age, when they were older than this (either they were drunk, or a Bacchanalian ritual made them do it, or it was a masked ball kind of thing, or), and they never talked about it out of guilt/awkwardness/pining/IDK, but here they are again...
— Slavery – Rabadash Edition: What if Rabadash won, and got Edmund and/or Lucy instead of Susan? What happens? Does he defile one of them? In his rooms? In front of others? Does the Tisroc do it or join in? Ooooh, what if Rabadash is really repressed and was actually secretly obsessed with Edmund more than Susan, and now he can take what he really wants? Does he want to fuck Edmund, or, even more shamefully, have Edmund fuck him? Or, even if that's not what's going on, does he abuse Lucy to devastate Edmund even more? Have Edmund and Lucy been secretly pining for each other? If so, are they secretly aroused and super ashamed and guilty about it all? Does Rabadash figure it out and taunt them? Or not? Whatever happens, I want them gorgeously defiant and stoic, at least up to a point. What breaks them, if they break at all? Do they mock or threaten Rabadash while being abused? Does Edmund actually have a bigger dick? Or maybe the slavery isn't necessarily sex-based; in what other ways does Rabadash hurt and try to humiliate them? How do they comfort one another when he isn't looking, or try, even when he's there's, to lift each other's spirits and stoic resolve? Does Rabadash get angry about being made to feel small even when he's won, which makes him whump them harder? I'll reiterate, there's no need to make this sexualized if you don't want to! There are plenty of ways to make it really angsty and iddy while keeping it gen.
— Adventures in Other Worlds: Maybe they use the rings to go on adventures instead of dying. Do they go to deserted Charn and come across something creepy and magical there, or find a way to fix things? Or do they go to Narnia during a different time period and something happens that might elicit something from the tags? Or maybe it's a crossover and things happen when they find themselves in another world? Maybe the world of 'The Witcher' or 'Game of Thrones' (I only know the TV shows of both)? Or maybe something creepily magical happens in a corner of the Narnian world during the Golden Age. Whenever or wherever they are, how do they deal with the other one being hurt? Do they rescue themselves, or rescue the other (if only one was captured)? Is it a slavery scenario as well, or something else?
— Undercover as Slave: Some mission during the Golden Age required one to go undercover as the other one's slave. I don't care why! I'm here for the sweet sweet angst of this roleplay, where someone is 'forced' to hurt or belittle someone they love dearly for the sake of the mission.
— Other Undercover: I love the idea of them going on undercover missions during the Golden Age together. Or maybe back in England, they grow up and become spies. I'm assuming this mission has gone wrong and now they are captured and whumped, or forced to engage in sexual activities, with each other or other people? Are they feeling totally platonic, and therefore this is TERRIBLE? Or have they been secretly pining for one another, and therefore it's terrible in a different way because they feel guilty for getting what they want in this awful way, and think the other is grossed out? Again, no need to add sex if you don't want; gen undercover stuff is great, too!
