Thanks so much for offering one of these! I love thinking up prompts (which is why my letters are so out of control), but I'm not married to them. You can twist them around, use just a bit of one, or ignore them and incorporate a couple of the general likes into your own idea. As long as you're having fun, I'm sure I'll love it! I've requested fic for everything. I'm
aurilly on AO3 as well.
This is a long letter, so here are anchor links to the different sections:
Lymond Chronicles, Doctor Who Crossovers, Narnia, Narnia/Psmith crossovers, Psmith, MCU, MCU/Narnia Crossovers, David Blaize Crossovers
General Notes
I'm just as--often more!--interested in watching characters navigate what comes after a prompted premise than I am in the premise itself, so starting in media res or writing a scene from the middle of an imaginary longer fic are totally great, especially in a lower minimum wordcount exchange like this. Feel free to skip the meet-cute and start at some point after they've become friends. What I care most about is what happens after two characters meet--the dynamics they forge, the adventures they have, the things they learn, etc. If you have the time and inclination to do the set-up and meetings as well, great; however, fics that end right after the introductions make me sad.
Things I Love
— Devoted Odd Couples: having one another’s backs; enjoying one another's company; laughing at one another; fond exasperation; quietly self-sacrificial loyalty; characters with wildly different speech patterns
— Earning Your Happy Ending: self-help; tough love; getting over some of your baggage; finding home where you least expect it
— Forced or Repeated Proximity: forced to share a room/bed; captured or stranded together; undercover as a couple; arranged marriage; marriage of convenience
— Adventures & Journeys: exploring unknown territory; daring rescues or escapes; trains; ships; hotels; vacations gone awry; fish out of water; realm-hopping; competence and resourcefulness; high-functioning teams; badassery; laughing in the face of danger or absurdity; the pen is mightier than the sword; swords are awesome, too
— Friends to Lovers: I like many variations, including, a) friends with benefits that becomes more; b) fics that start after the first kiss/declaration and focus on how they navigate the relationship transition in the days or weeks that follow, c) pining that works out in the end. For pairings who don't canonically know each other, I'd be totally happy skipping over the meet-cute and starting when they're already friends so you can focus on 'to lovers'!
— Sexy Times: I'd be thrilled to get higher rated fic for any of my / pairings (but no pressure!). See THIS for general porn likes applicable to any of my ships (not just the ones listed there)
— Crossovers: applying skills/knowledge from one world to another world's problems; contrasting or reconciling differences in how a concept manifests across canons (ex. immortality, amnesia, realm hopping, time shenanigans); magic in one canon originates from another; characters coming up with logical but incorrect theories before discovering the truth; assuming characters have a past together (ex. cousins, schoolmates, childhood neighbors, etc) and starting the story when they reunite in the present
Do Not Wants
— romantic pairings other than the ones specifically requested; underage/overage romance
— crack, fusions, and alternate setting AUs
— fics where none of the main characters ever find out about the others' backgrounds or magic (the reveal doesn't have to happen 'on-screen', but please don't end it with everyone thinking everyone else is normal!)
— Things That Upset Me: the afterlife; major character death; bleak endings; noncon; shovel talks
— Schmoopiness: plotless fluff; non-canonical pet names or terms of endearment; people saying "I love you" verbatim
— Sex & Relationship-Related: soulmates; poly; love triangles; yentas and matchmakers; pregnancy; adultery; ace, aro, demi and gender headcanons; dark dynamics in my requested ships; D/s dynamics
— Writing Things: 1st & 2nd person POV; phonetically spelled dialogue
— Crossover-related: tragic Steve/Peggy-style age mismatches; crossovers of more than two canons at a time; fourth wall breakage; letting real life release dates dictate character ages (I prefer moving timelines so requested characters are around the same age)
Lymond Chronicles
Pairing: Francis/Christian
This is one of my ultimate forever OTPs. I yearn for a canon divergence AU about them getting together and being okay after the first book. The first book is far and away my favorite, so I'm fine ignoring the subsequent ones. Francis is so much more FUN in it, while still being deliciously anguished and badass. And they have so much fun together, despite all the drama and angst. I love their secret visits and correspondence and music. I love the way they conspire so dangerously, but at the same time, she's the only person he seems to relax around. I love how her blindness never stops her from being ridiculously capable. I love the way he understands how she wants to be treated, and quietly helps her get what she wants out of life. I love their equal amounts of self-sacrificing love for one another, and the way she is largely over his shit.
UST and/or pining (that gets happily resolved, please) is always welcome. Instead of bashing or hurting Tom, please pretend their engagement amicably ended before the fic started, or the pairing never existed at all. Canon ships that don't involve Francis or Christian are fine to include in the background. I don't need a whole explanation for how Christian is still alive, unless you're excited to write about that. You can assume she recovered before the fic started, or was never injured, or they were together during her recovery, or whatever!
Prompts:
— More reputation-saving quests or diplomatic hijinks? Basically, any kind of canon-typical plot, but with the two of them working together while getting together.
— Something where magic is real. Like Johnnie Bullo's work not being a con, or druids, or selkies, or finding Avalon, or... IDK. Francis and Christian dealing with the ensuing adventure while also dealing with their feelings.
— I always thought Sybilla, Agnes and/or little Mary shipped it; while I don't like matchmaking, I do enjoy subversions where people try to set them up, not realizing the people are already secretly together
— The books skipped over the first year of Francis's reinstatement into Scottish high society. Tell me more about how that went. What if they'd gotten the formal reintroduction they had wished for?
— Undercover as a couple in France or London? Arranged marriage or marriage of convenience? Captured or stranded together? I love how forced proximity tropes push relationships forward and help them learn new things about each other--both delightful and irritating. I also adore the awkward sexual situations engendered. You can handwave the set-up!
— The chapter where Francis sends Richard on a pseudo-scavenger hunt for the glove was amazing, as was the part where Francis writes to Christian via Agnes. Something involving another puzzle Francis sets up for Christian? Or that she sets up for him? Or that someone else sets up they have to solve together?
Doctor Who Crossovers
Pairings:
• Donna Noble & Loki (MCU)
• Donna Noble & Jonas Kahnwald (Dark TV)
General
Donna is my hero forever. Whenever I have a damaged fave with cracked out problems, I think, "They need Donna!" She's just the right mix of caring and brassy, a normal woman who's experienced enough cracked out to understand, but who doesn't indulge anyone's self-pity. I think she could tough-love or pep talk people out of their heads in a fun, constructive way, and maybe even help their plot problems. Or simply be a fun adventuring partner. These pairings are extra fun because with Jonas you have time traveler+time traveler and with Loki you have time traveler+immortal (but you don't have to focus on these themes if you don't want to).
I'm still not over the crappy end of her story, neither the amnesia nor the idea of a lottery ticket and random new fiancé as a worthy reward. Feel free to pretend him away. I'd like Donna to get her memories back (whether you actively fix it or just handwave it away before the start of the fic) and continue to be helpful and hilarious. I’ve only seen series 1-5. Instead of aging Donna up, please set it so that she is no more than a year or two older than canon.
Donna Noble & Loki (MCU)
Loki desperately needs to make new friends of his own. Preferably someone who will see through his shit and enjoy him anyway. They'd make an odd couple for the ages. I feel like he'd be confused but like her despite himself (but another take would be great, too!). I'd love to hear Donna's frank comments about Asgard, his attitude, his wardrobe... literally anything. It could be set entirely post S4. Or maybe she visited Asgard with the Doctor (maybe even pre-MCU canon?) and they meet again? Something else?
MCU likes/dislikes and Loki characterization notes are in the Bucky/Loki section below. Donna/Loki would be great, too (my only worry is that she would find him too skinny?), if you want. I've requested Donna/Bucky in the past, so you could even make it a trio in any gen and/or ship configuration you want (this is an exception to my poly DNW; however, I still hate love triangles), if that interests you. I'll be thrilled with anything!
— Do they meet at various disjointed points because of time travel+immortality (my favorite combination)? What projects do they work on together?
— Loki doing that memory thing with Valkyrie made me wonder if he can restore memories, too
— Does Donna exasperatedly save Loki from himself, causing a (happier?) canon divergence? Ex. he fell from the Bifrost into the TARDIS, or she ran into him before he went to Stuttgart, or got stuck in Svartalfheim during the Convergence, or...
— Forced to work together during some forced proximity trope?
— Maybe they go on a quest? Solving a mystery together in Asgard's palace? Encountering one another in a different realm? Much running?
— Or, see the the Bucky/Loki prompts below, as most could be tweaked to work for Donna instead
Donna Noble & Jonas Kahnwald (Dark TV)
JONAS! His life is so shitty and lonely, I can't bear it. I love him desperately and need him to be okay. He's so sweet and sad and stoic and self-sacrificing and gah. He thinks he is "wrong", which, no! Don't think that, darling! Please let Donna jolly him (even briefly) out of his quiet melancholy and/or fix his life. I'd love to hear her comments about this type of time travel, about 1950s or 1980s Germany, about anything... Depending on what age(s) you choose, she can be a nice aunt-type or more of a peer/friend. I'm also up for same-age shipping (either both teens or both adults). Anything you think of will be amazing, set in any time(s) you want. I'm assuming Jonas speaks decent English and/or Donna has a translation thingy (though Donna knowing a little German could be hilarious)? If you happen to be into German culture, language, etc, flourishes would be awesome, but no worries if not.
I found this show gripping, full of the kind of perfectly plotted time travel convolution I dream of, with bonus Goethe and stuff. However, it was mostly a cerebral enjoyment. I rooted for Charlotte, pitied Regina, worried for Mikkel and Yasin, etc... but Jonas was the only character I became emotionally invested in (well, I also got invested in Hunky Jesus, which... yeah). Canon divergence, time travel layering, ending the magic full-stop (with or without resulting erasure of stuff)... It's all good! Feel free to change, kill, or fuck over anyone/anything else in 'Dark'. Maybe everything about Winden EXCEPT Jonas is "wrong" and needs to be erased... I don't care, as long as Jonas (and Donna, obviously) is okay. I'm also okay erasing/messing with adult Jonas stuff if it means a happier path for Jonas in general.
— How does Donna help? Does she give him a pep talk? Make a single day brighter? Provide some healing insight about life or his dad or anything?
— Do they destroy the cave? Save the kids? Thwart Noah? Make out in that treehouse?
— Does she spirit him out of this awful town entirely, to London or space?
— Do they meet at various, disjointed points where sometimes they are older or younger? Ex. did young Donna visit or study abroad in Winden in addition to post-canon and/or her time with the Doctor? Does she ever stay at the hotel?
Narnia
Pairings:
• Emeth/Tirian
• Edmund/Bacchus
General: Edmund and Tirian were my very first favorite characters, and Narnia in general is responsible for most of my narrative kinks. I love everyone's competency, earnestness and courage when it counts, but also their fears, flaws, and squabblings. I love the same balance for Narnia itself—a land that's beautiful but rough around the edges, and with magic that isn't always neat and cheerful. The end of Narnia, train crash, and afterlife are my biggest DNWs. Please pretend everyone lives!!
Emeth/Tirian:
Tirian has such human flaws, and he started off as a hot mess of a king, but he means so well, and is quite resourceful and clever when you rouse him out of his decadence. And Emeth should win a prize for the level of admiration and affection he was able to inspire in so few pages. I loved the conflict he faced between his reason, his duty, his devotion, and his desire to prove himself. I would like something where they get together in real life and live happily ever after. I think they’re perfect for one another—brave, noble warriors (and all-around lovely guys) who could come to respect and love one another despite their differences.
— Enemies to lovers, culture clashes, reluctant allies fall in love, secret forbidden love across enemy lines, brothers in arms, agent falls for mark, differing styles of courtly speech and manners... I love it all!
— What if they had met in Narnia while Emeth was undercover as a merchant, and their love changes the course of the story?
— Canon divergence where Calormen conquered Narnia, but no apocalypse. Tirian as war prisoner, trophy, slave, or sacrifice to Tash? Does Emeth decide to help him? If so, why and how? Or something else happens? How do they fall in love? Tirian tied up and beaten was very, um, interesting to me as a child; as long as there's a hopeful ending, you can whump him as hard as you like.
— Tirian in a Groundhog Day loop in which he learns how to be a better king (and prevent the apocalypse), and ends up in a romantic relationship with Emeth as a side result?
— What if they had met before? How might that change have affected the later plot? We know Tirian has been to Calormen. Was it an official trip, or did he go incognito, either for fun or for espionage? Did Emeth know who Tirian was, or not? You could focus on the flashbacks, or you could assume the backstory and start the fic when they meet again later on... either way!
— Exploring differing views about same-sex romance? It doesn't have to be "Calormen=repressed, Narnia=free love" (though it could); maybe Calormen has a complicated Ancient Greek-style undercurrent, or Narnia's never shaken its Victorian influences. Or some other take?
Edmund/Bacchus:
I love that being redeemed and growing into a badass warrior king didn't entirely cure Edmund of being a cranky, sarcastic little shit. Lifespan incompatibilities depress me, but if you can solve it, I'd be all for happily ever afters! Otherwise, I mostly ship this in a revelrous, casual way, not as a long-term monogamous relationship. Nothing hot and heavy when Edmund is younger than 17, please; in these cases, PG13 kissing and cuddles would be lovely. However, hot and heavy when he's older is very welcome!
— Bacchus is in charge of rites for young rulers to bond with the land or whatever. Basically, I'm looking for some sort of public and/or private virginity taking ceremony. Is Edmund excited, is it a duty he's been dreading, or something else? Is Bacchus godly and serious, or affectionate and fun? Perhaps they do it on the Stone Table? Tied down with magic vines? Ceremonial wine pouring? Switching? Pre-bathing by the maenads? It's not over until [your choice]? Different details of your choosing? Go all out! If you want to throw Lucy in there, too, go ahead (but not Peter or Susan). No drugs/aphrodisiacs, please (well, a mild wine buzz is fine, since it's Bacchus and all); I want Edmund naturally responsive and overstimulated.
— Aslan loves everyone, but Lucy is obviously his favorite. What if Edmund is this god's special favorite? How come? Does Bacchus periodically show up to protect or visit Ed, maybe even without Edmund realizing it, maybe even in our world? Other ramifications of being Bacchus's fave? IDK, just anything romantic on this theme, with Bacchus adoring Edmund, even if they aren't long-term "together".
— The idea of the Pevensies being the only humans in Narnia during their hormonal teenage years has always fascinated me. I'd love something in which Bacchus relieves Edmund's sexual frustration, either with direct physicality, instruction, or in other ways. Does it happen all at once when Ed goes to his first bacchanal, or is it a slow build over multiple years/visits?
— In mythology, Bacchus is sometimes depicted as a youth and sometimes as an adult. What if both are correct, and he can decide at will (or maybe something else causes him to shift?)? This lines up well with Edmund, who also goes back and forth in age. Aslan once gave Lucy a line about how he looked older because she was older, which... huh. Is this true for Bacchus and his faves, too? Basically, a shippy fic that plays with concepts around gods, time shenanigans, and age/appearance would be cool!
Narnia/Psmith Crossovers
Pairings:
• Psmith&Edmund
• Psmith&Tirian
• Psmith&Rilian
I would have requested Mike&these guys, too, but only had so many nomination slots. So, feel free to make it all about Mike instead, or give him and Psmith equal weight. Whatever! Basically, I would love a story about Psmith and/or Mike in Narnia! I'm desperate to know their thoughts on other realms and talking animals, etc. How might he/they help characters there? What do the Narnians make of him/them?
It's fine if Psmith and Mike are a few years younger or older than the requested Narnia characters (especially if they are the same age as Edmund back in England). In crossovers, I'm equally happy shipping Psmith/Mike or keeping it gen, but please don't ship either of them with anyone else. DNW: train crash, end of Narnia, afterlife.
Prompts:
— Does Edmund, Rilian or Tirian blow the horn, summoning Psmith and/or Mike for help with a problem? Fighting giants, espionage, outwitting Calormene spies, implementing educational policies, dealing with the Rabadash situation? Something else?
— Helping Golden Age Edmund remember his previous life? Is this the only time they meet, or do they reconnect at boarding school or Cambridge?
— Helping newly crowned Rilian get settled on the throne or heal from his trauma after Jill and Eustace leave? Do they meet Puddleglum?
— Helping Tirian nip the entire plot of TLB in the bud? Or helping him with something pre-TLB?
— Or just exploring or partying with Narnian royalty in any of these eras! It doesn't have to be a whole dramatic project.
— You know how Tirian astrally projected to the Friends of Narnia that one time? Well, what if he's been doing it regularly with Psmith or Mike? They have always secretly thought they had an imaginary friend (or are going nuts), but one day they meet, either here or there.
Psmith - PG Wodehouse
Pairing: Psmith/Mike
Friends to lovers, please! There are prompts below, but honestly, I'll love anything. The odd coupling of Mike’s everyman pragmatism and Psmith’s dialogue is endlessly delightful to me. I love their loyalty and what self-sacrificing heroes they both are, while also being total little shits. Who is the forward one here, or do they bumble equally in their own ways? Does either try to hide his nerves/inexperience? Or not? Or maybe one or both is actually experienced? Any take would be fascinating.
I have two main asks: 1) Please set it before they met their wives and/or pretend they never did) 2) While a little longing and hesitation are nice--and a touch of quietly understood, low-key forbiddenness does add a certain frisson--I don't want internalized homophobia, anguished coming outs, or serious discussion of social issues. Other types of angst and non-canonical darkness are fine, though, as long as it turns out okay in the end and retains some sense of humour (ex. boarding school abuse, dystopian take on Wodehouse's world, hurt/comfort during WWI...)
Prompts:
— Getting Together: How and when does it happen? Is it friends with benefits or does one actually court the other? What's their first kiss like?
— Canon Divergence: What if either or both of their fathers had not gone bankrupt? What if they'd moved to Hollywood after university? What if they'd stayed with the bank? What if the plan for Mike to manage Psmith's estates had happened? What if...? How do they get together in this divergence?
— Something that explores what they're like in bed. Does Mike think about sex like cricket (or not)? Does Psmith ever shut up (or not)? Seriously, ANYTHING!
— Whump with a Happy Ending: Stoic woobies...yum. Maybe something traumatizing happens or has happened to Psmith, who hides his pain behind his effervescent mask... but Mike eventually figures it out and works to make it all better. Or something terrible happens to Mike, and Psmith goes above and beyond to get revenge and/or set things right.
— One (or both?) in a Groundhog Day loop? No need to explain how it starts or why it ends (handwave away!); I care about the things people learn about themselves and each other, and how they deal with the situation
— Playing with that historical/literary theme of romantic boarding school attachments being a thing guys expect to grow out of. Except Psmith and Mike realize... it isn't happening? Could involve pining, doomed set-ups, erroneously assuming the other is over it, resigned yet unfounded jealousy, "it's a far far better thing I do...", or whatever angst you want, before a happy ending.
— Sorting out their feelings while dealing with some sort of adventure? Could be drawing room espionage, a murder mystery, survival on a desert island, or...?
— Crossovers: One of my favorite things is hearing Psmith's and Mike's views on and reactions to new situations and people. Hence, crossovers! See below for prompts crossing these books with Narnia or David Blaize. See here for options to cross these books with MCU, Game of Thrones, Lost, or Atlantis; it's set up as a mix-and-match, where you can slot Psmith/Mike into prompts for the other fandoms, or slot other characters I love into the Psmith prompts. There are also prompts for Psmith/Mike crossed with Penny Dreadful or 'My Family and Other Animals' here.
MCU
Pairing: Loki/Bucky
OTP! I yearn to see them make new connections outside of Thor and Steve and move forward with their lives. More specifically, I think they would be amazing together, an entertainingly snarky, angsty and badass odd couple. They might be able to get each other, and/or tough love each other to a better place. I loved Ragnarok, but I also love wild canon divergences that pretend away any/all movies you want. For example, I never get tired of canon divergences that assume "Loki fell to Earth", "Loki was banished instead of Thor", "Bucky escaped/recovered his memories differently", "Bucky never killed the Starks and was pardoned", etc. While I loved how largely-recovered and 'just trying to get by' Bucky was, the larger plot of CW depressed me, so feel extra free to pretend that film never happened. I’m not into fics where Loki spends a lot of time in Jotun form.
Some random things: 1) I have a pet peeve about Bucky (and Steve) saying "ain't". Can they please speak as properly as they do in the films? Cursing is fine, though. 2) I like stories where Bucky retains a sense of humour and is trying to build a new life, not ones that dwell on painful recovery or make him childlike. 3) I prefer the characterization at the very beginning of Thor 1 or Ragnarok, where Loki is obnoxious, but not evil or crazy. 4) No Darcy or Sharon, please, and nothing from the TV shows, as I'm not familiar with them. 5) Bucky's first time with a guy and/or Bucky having grown up with internalized homophobia would be interesting themes to include (but I won't be disappointed if not, I promise).
Prompts:
— The Convergence left wounded Loki stranded on Earth, to be found and taken in by post-TWS Bucky. What do they bond and bicker about? What are their roommate negotiations or day to day like? Can Loki help Bucky's memories or triggers?
— Steve asks Thor if post-TWS Bucky can hide out on Asgard, in a divergence where Loki didn't pretend to be Odin post-TDW. Bucky's impression of the place and characters? Using Brooklyn street smarts to help royalty with a problem? How do he and Loki get along and get together?
— Canon divergence where Bucky ended up on Sakaar at some point pre-Ragnarok (I don't care how or when). The fic starts when, or even after, he and Loki meet there. You could write something “nice” or you could write a Bucky version of the 'Edmund/Loki on Sakaar' dubcon prompt below.
— Or maybe they didn't meet while on Sakaar, but Bucky escaped with Korg & Co, and they get to know each other on the Asgard refugee ship.
— A deal or scheme or trick or dare leads to feelings? Teaming up to prank Steve or Thor?
— Identity Porn: Does Bucky not know that the attractive guy who frequents his favorite coffee shop is the trickster asshole from his vigilante or superhero life? Or they met while Bucky was masked and amnesiac and/or Loki was shapeshifted, and don't realize it when they meet again? Some other scenario? Anything would be amazing as long as they eventually figure it out.
— Forced Proximity Tropes: arranged marriage, undercover as a couple, marriage of convenience, or stranded or captured together (in space? in an avalanche? on Lost Island? at a terrible party? Anywhere!). I'm into these tropes for the bonding and working together that results. I don't care about the set-up; handwave away.
— Externally Driven Sex Tropes: sex pollen (affecting either or both), "fuck or die", "aliens/bad guys made them do it", "only sex can break the spell", etc. But no established romantic relationship or pre-arranged consent, please; I like these tropes when they have to get through this awkward/awful situation together, and didn't know beforehand that their feelings were requited. Or maybe the experience leads one or both to realize they want more. I also adore navigating awkward mornings/days after to the getting together (you could even start after the sex to focus on this).
— Crossovers: Getting together while on a crossover adventure? See here for options with Narnia, Game of Thrones, Lost, Atlantis, Psmith or David Blaize; it's set up as a mix-and-match, where you can slot Bucky/Loki into prompts for the other fandoms, or slot other characters I love into the MCU prompts.
— Intersex!Loki: Only for this pairing, please!! And WITHOUT breasts, feminization, Jotun!Loki, identity politics, or threat of pregnancy. I want the same characterization you’d write for the other prompts, but Loki happens to have both a penis and a vagina in his leather pants. Bonus points for any of the (totally optional!) following: self-loathing Loki surprised that Bucky is so into it; self-loathing Bucky surprised that Loki is so turned on by his arm; Loki's first time letting anyone see and/or touch this part of him (maybe he's always kept it hidden or glamoured, even during sex?); marathon sex with lots of permutations; Bucky the eager cunnilingist; top!Loki (simply for variety, since intersex!Loki never gets to top in fic).
MCU/Narnia Crossovers
**FOR ALL: No train crash or end of Narnia, please!! The afterlife is my biggest DNW. Please pretend everyone lives.
Pairings:
• Thor & Reepicheep
• Thor/Tirian OR Thor&Tirian
• Bucky/Rilian OR Bucky&Rilian
• Loki/Edmund OR Loki&Edmund
Reepicheep & Thor:
This would be delightful! Reepicheep would be so pleased to pledge his sword to such a warrior, and I think Thor would be so amused by this valiant mouse. I'd love if Reepicheep could help with something Thor wouldn't have been able to do on his own, and them being besties. Maybe Thor visits Narnia right after Prince Caspian? Or it's a canon divergence where Thor is on an island the Dawn Treader stops at? Or Reepicheep's little boat takes him (alive!!) to Asgard instead of Aslan's country? Anything!
Tirian/Thor OR Tirian&Thor:
They would be so competent and charming and HOT together and I will love anything! Maybe something where they fight together and learn to be less rash/better rulers together (and hook up)? Narnia as a fun realm that Thor likes to visit? Either he gets the party he came for, or he ends up in an unexpected adventure? Or maybe Thor was banished to Narnia instead of to Earth (just pretend the timelines line up, please), and helps Tirian avert the apocalypse? Or maybe instead of the Friends of Narnia, it was Thor that Tirian summoned while he was tied to the tree, to stop Narnia's version of Ragnarok? Or pre-Last Battle, fighting Northern giants and drinking wine together? Or, see the Psmith&Tirian prompt about astral projection, but with Thor instead.
Bucky/Rilian or Bucky&Rilian
There are many parallels, what with the brainwashing and trauma chairs and being programmed to kill your friends, and the bad people telling you you're crazy during the rare moments when you're actually lucid, and being lost for years... What adventures do they have together? How do they get to making out? Bucky helping Rilian during his early days on the throne (like, after Jill and Eustace leave)? There would be a lot for him to deal with, both politically and personally, and maybe Bucky's common sense outsider perspective could help. Bucky in that first snowfall dance on the one year anniversary of Rilian's return? Bucky's reactions to Narnia in general (I feel like his 'what the hell?!' attitude would be delightfully on fire here)?
You could even ignore the parallels, and have Bucky fall off the train and into Rilian's reign, without Winter Soldier stuff ever happening to him. Or what about Rilian in our world? Does the Lady send him here to get something magic? Would Hydra get to him? Rilian using his world's knowledge to come up with the solution to a canon MCU problem? Does his star blood make him special in some way? Can Rilian save Bucky from his brainwashing? Or maybe they met before one of them got brainwashed, and years later when they meet again the other doesn't remember him (lots of angst that gets hopefully resolved by the end).
Edmund/Loki OR Edmund&Loki:
Any scenario you can think of would be great. I'd just love to see these two bounce off one another. As long as they end up genuinely liking/caring about each other, I'm fine if it starts out a little fucked up or wary. Or it can be 'nice' from the start. Whatever you want! Bonding over and/or exploring the similarities and differences in the canons' shared themes of kingship, sibling rivalry, betrayal, ice magic, redemption, growing up, realm-hopping, apocalypse aversion, etc? Two clever guys coming to respect one another? Complementary skillsets solving a problem in Narnia or Asgard or Earth (ex. evil spies, cracks in reality, sea serpents, invaders from other realms, university bullies, anything!)? Fighting back to back with swords and daggers and magic (hot!)?
What if Loki fell off the Bifrost at the end of Thor 1 and into Golden Age Narnia? Or landed in Narnia instead of Sakaar? Or he visited Narnia pre-Thor 1 for fun or to steal something from that world? What if the train crash never happened, and Edmund used the rings to go traveling and went to Asgard? Making deals for artifacts or protection from Asgard? Something else?
Or, for something completely different... I'm embarrassingly into "Loki is reduced to trading sex for safety on Sakaar" dubcon, where the Grandmaster thinks of him simply as a sex pet, and Loki thinks he can scheme his way out but realizes too late that he is in way over his head. I'd love something where grown-up-again Edmund is also on Sakaar (maybe he went adventuring with the rings, but got stuck there? I don't care). Sakaar and Narnia both have established time weirdness, so it handwavily works. Two former kings forced to work together and bond in their gilded captivity... Maybe they knew and liked one another from Narnia, when Edmund was last this age (or not, whatever)? Is Edmund a pleasure pet, a fighter, or both? Or neither? Maybe Ed isn't quite as outclassed as Loki and has managed to gain the GM's respect or an actual shot at escape/control? Does Loki complicate Ed's plans, or does he help? Are they initially wary antagonists? Or do they like each other right away, but have to keep their (gen or shippy) relationship secret? Is the fact that the GM is fucking one (or both) angsty for them? Does he make the other watch? Let others watch on the orgy ship? Or does Ed manipulate the GM into not fucking Loki? Or does the GM make them do each other (which is awkward because they're secretly pining or together or just friends)? Anything will be great! Go all out. But no drugs/aphrodisiacs, please!! I want characters to lucidly "choose" to go along with things—even though the other choice is probably death—and for reluctant orgasms to happen naturally (eliciting that much more shame). And no “bros” or romantic feelings between GM/Loki or GM/Ed (well, GM having a bizarre unrequited crush on Ed would be okay). He’s a ruthless, dangerous lunatic under all that genial weirdness, and I don’t see Loki or Edmund genuinely liking him. I'd hate for stress about the line between noncon and dubcon to keep anyone from writing this, so consider this prompt an exception to my noncon DNW.
David Blaize Crossovers
**For all of these, I’m looking for happiness and self-acceptance for Frank, above all.
Pairings:
• Narnia: Frank/Tirian
• Atlantis: Frank/Icarus or Frank/Pythagoras
• Lost: Frank/Richard
• Fantastic Beasts: Frank/Dumbledore
Frank/Tirian (Narnia):
Frank finds himself in Narnia, in a canon divergence that pretends most of The Last Battle never happened. Do they nip the Calormene plot way in the bud? Or ignore the whole book entirely and do something else with them! Partying together with Bacchus? Fighting Northern giants together? Or, what if Tirian has been regularly astrally projecting to Frank the way he did to the Friends of Narnia that one time; both he and Frank have always secretly thought they had an imaginary friend (or are going nuts), but one day they meet, either because Tirian comes here or Frank goes thereand then they have sex. Frank enchanted by Tirian's literal fairytale prince-ness, or irritated by his rashness or decadence? Tirian having hero-worship about yet another person from our world? No train crash or end of Narnia, please!! The afterlife is my biggest DNW.
Frank/Pythagoras (Atlantis):
Assume that during one of his trips to Greece, Frank fell into a similar wormhole as Jason did, and start the story after he's arrived in Atlantis. Frank knows all about Greek mythology and could probably help the Atlantis characters solve a problem (ex. the fleece quest, or a missing season 1 episode, saving Medusa or some other canon divergence). Is Jason confused because Frank is from his world, but was born 100 years before him? How does Frank react to meeting the people and seeing the stories go a bit differently? Does this experience show him that he was wrong about Ancient Greece becoming "corrupt and beastly"? (see more below)
Frank/Icarus (Atlantis):
Pretty much the same as above, except maybe it's Daedalus & Icarus who take Frank in? Or they meet in some other way? Is Frank stressed out because he's dreading his new friend's fabled fate? Please pick only one of these pairings; no OT3. I'm generally a hardcore Icarus/Pythagoras shipper, so, for either of these requests, you’d have to pretend they never had or never will have feelings for one another. Or maybe the story happened before Icarus/Pythagoras got together, and this is just a nice fling that amicably ends when Frank has to go home again, but they've both grown from the experience (I'm fine with the happy ending being Frank going home and being ready to make a move on David, if you want).
Frank/Dumbledore (Fantastic Beasts):
I don't want Frank to have gone to Hogwarts or be a knowledgable wizard (the Marchester canon is important to me); but any other way of meeting would be cool! Maybe Frank's French mom went to Beauxbatons but married a Muggle and raised Frank as a Muggle (which maybe explains how/why he was able to magically cure David that time), or maybe he's just a regular muggle. How does Frank find out about magic --either his own or the world's -- and how does he help the Rowling characters? Please let Frank be in his early-mid 20s and Dumbledore be however old he's supposed to be there (which seems older than Frank, right? making this an exception to my general age difference DNW). Dumbedore is such a sexy professor and I feel like Frank would get hot under the collar about it, and Dumbledore would be turned on by Frank's intelligence and want to soothe his obvious pain. I'd love for Dumbledore to get over his thing for Grindelwald (shallowly, it hurts me to have glorious Jude!Dumbledore angsting over Johnny Depp, especially in that makeup), just as Frank is getting over his thing about David. Do they go searching for Credence together? Or is this all shortly before the whole Fantastic Beasts plot gets going, and they're trying to suss out Grindelwald for capture, or deal with escaped dragons, or needs Frank's classics skill to do... something... I don't honestly know. I'm up for anything! I only know these two films and the seven HP books/films.
Frank/Richard (Lost):
My main ask is for Frank on the island! Like, a canon divergence in which his ship sinks on one of his trips to Greece. Start at some point after he's washed ashore. Frank exploring the island and its mysteries? Does Frank help Richard set up the first settlement of Others? Does Smokey try to tempt/corrupt Frank? Does Jacob give Frank a magical but ultimately unhealthy 'gift' like he gave Richard? For what it's worth, I also ship Richard/Jacob, and like the idea of Smokey's unrequited desire for Richard (and/or maybe Frank?); I don't mind ships co-existing in this case (or Jacob/Frank instead of Richard/Frank, or even R/J/F OT3), if you want. Does Richard feel confused or self-loathing about his attraction to Frank? And vice versa? Can they get over their hang-ups together? How does Frank react to Jacob, this pseudo-god figure who probably doesn't care who people love, and the fact that Richard is so devoted to him, too? Does this create tension? Are there class or hero worship or religious or other issues that they overcome together? No sideways universe, please!!

Or, what if Tirian has been regularly astrally projecting to Frank the way he did to the Friends of Narnia that one time; both he and Frank have always secretly thought they had an imaginary friend (or are going nuts), but one day they meet, either because Tirian comes here or Frank goes there
