I love love love crossovers. This is a storehouse for all the prompts that I have strewn all over the place, for use in any exchange. It might be easier to navigate this post from the view on my main journal page, where you can use the cut-links.

I don't do New Year's resolutions, but I want to start keeping a log of books I've read, in an effort to make sure I read new things, instead of subsisting entirely on a diet of the New Yorker, fic, the same Wodehouse books I've read a million times, and Trollope (so much Trollope... no wonder I was depressed).

First task is to get through or at least formally abandon the books I bought last year.

Thanks so much for offering one of these! My letters always run long because I love thinking up prompts, but not I'm married to them. You can twist them around, or use just a bit of one, or ignore them entirely and go off a couple of the general likes. And please don't think I'm looking for a bunch of things I touched on to be crammed in (I'm really not!). I just desperately want fic about these characters, so please have fun and don't stress! I'm aurilly on AO3 as well. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for offering one of my favorite characters! The prompts can be written as tricks or treats, as you like. But pleased don't feel constrained by them. You can twist them around, or just do part of one, or ignore the prompts entirely and go off one of the general likes. It's also okay if your fic doesn't fit the Halloween themes. I'm aurilly on AO3 as well.

Thanks so much for offering one of these ships! My letters are too long because I get so excited, but please don't feel pressured to stick to the prompts, or think I'm looking for a bunch of things I mentioned to be included. You can twist a prompt around, or use just a bit of one, or ignore the prompts entirely and try to include one of the general likes in your own idea. These pairings are all rare enough that I'll be thrilled with pretty much anything you're having fun writing.

Hi there! This is one of my most favorite exchanges of the year, which is why this letter has gotten so out of control. I'm so sorry. But, as I hope is clear, I am excited about an infinite number of things. Write whatever you think will be most fun for these pairings, and I'm sure I'll love it.

Thanks so much for signing up for one of these ships! This is long, but please don't feel pressured to stick to the prompts, or think I'm looking for a bunch of things I mentioned to be included. These pairings are all rare enough that I'll be thrilled with pretty much anything you're having fun writing. I've requested three of these before, so feel free to use something from an old letter if you prefer, including the crossover prompt post.

Hi! Thank you for offering one of these ships! Please don’t panic at the length of this. I like to leave a lot of info for those who want it, but, except for the things I directly call out as squicks, everything in here is completely optional blather that you should feel free to ignore. I want you to write something you think is fun; don't feel the need to cram a whole bunch of things I mentioned into the fic. And even though some fandom sections are longer or some tags treated more generally, I honestly do want all my pairings and tags equally. It's just that some needed a little more explanation than others.

Thanks so much for signing up for one of these ships! These letters always spiral embarrassingly out of control, but please don't feel pressured to stick to the prompts, or think I'm looking for a bunch of things I mentioned to be included. You can twist a single sentence from the prompt sections around, or ignore the prompts entirely and try to include one of the 'Things I Love' into your own idea. These pairings are all rare enough that I'll be thrilled with pretty much anything you're having fun writing. And the length of the sections is no indication of how much I want something. I want them all equally!

Thanks so much for signing up for one of these ships! These letters always run long because I get really excited, but please don't feel pressured to stick to the prompts or to put a whole bunch of things I mentioned in the story. You can twist the prompts around, or do just a bit of one, or ignore the prompts entirely and go off one of the likes. Or do your own thing that you'd have fun writing. Most of these pairings are rare enough that I'll be thrilled with pretty much anything.

Thanks so much for signing up and writing for me! These letters always spiral out of control because I get so excited, and because I know some people like to see allllll the possible information. But it's not meant to be proscriptive! I'm neither wedded to these prompts nor looking to see a whole bunch of things I mentioned reflected in the fic. You can use just half a prompt (or question or theme), or twist it around, or ignore the prompts and incorporate a couple of the "Things I Love" into your own idea. As I hope is clear from this embarrassing word vomit, I adore these characters and am interested in a million different things. The fic I'll like best is the one you're having a blast writing. Thanks again!

Hi! Thank you for signing up for one of these fandoms and writing for me! :) I'm making an attempt to rein in the tl:dr in this letter (not sure I succeeded). I'm not wedded to any of these prompts, and I was thinking you could play any of them as tricks or treats, as you like. If none of them strike you, you can twist them around, or just do part of one, or ignore them entirely and go off one of the likes. Or your own idea entirely! I promise I'm really easy to please.

I had so much fun with this exchange the first time and am so glad it's back. I'm not fussy about which tags go with which characters. Write whatever you think will be most fun for a tag+character/duo combo that I've requested, and I'm sure I'll love it. You could even incorporate more than one tag. I tend to write overly long letters (sorry!), but any prompts I suggested are incredibly optional. The tags I have a write-up for are just the ones I have extra thoughts about, not the ones I necessarily want most.

Thanks for writing for me!

I have a LOT of feelings and I love thinking up prompts, so these letters always get insanely long. But please don’t panic! If none of the prompts or likes work for you, feel free to ignore them. I know this seems like a lot, but the fact that you’re writing one of these pairings is enough to make me so happy, so go wherever the muse takes you. As long as you’re having fun, I’m sure I’ll love it. Thank you! :D
